15 km land enters in and is surrounded by cliffs 1200 meters high from the multitude of waterfalls falling. There are often seals, dolphins, penguins and sea lions resting on the rocks. The climate there is quite hard,so it is recommended to be prepared for the wind and rain. The scenery is spectacular.

The Tongariro Crossing is one of the most popular excursions in the country. 8-11 hour excursion through a still active volcanic area that offers some of the most spectacular experience in the country and probably the world class scenery. One of the mountains we will see the Ruapehu, is made of Mordor in Lord of the Rings.

Walk your bike or "mountain bike" should be on the top of your list of things to do in this mild autumn weather. The NZ Cycle Trail has an incredible variety of suitable for each cycle paths, from novices to experts. There are trails in most regions across the country, hoping the recorras and live a great adventure kiwi.
